As stated over and over and over, I started, right out of school in a company that was just beginning to use Computer Drafting. And no one really had a clue as to how to use it properly. For some reason I always looked at computers as a tool. Nothing more or less, just a tool. Like any tool you learn its strengths, weakness's and use it appropriately. So, right from the start I had a problem with this particular point. Having managers/engineers order me to do a drawing on the computer has been a constant since I entered the field. Whenever i pointed out it would be better done using pencil and/or coloured pencils I would be told "We have the computers we may as well use them!"

This is when I would recite the quote from above....
